Golf breaks at the Vale do Lobo and other great resorts on the Algarve

The Literal translation for Vale do Lobo is "valley of the wolf". When you get there you just can't imagine that wolves would even conceive to stalk in this part of the Algarve. Well......maybe the occasional Werewolves because the girls are so so pretty.

It is more likely that the name began as an old wives tale about the ancient and densely wooded ravine at the southern end of the resort. Nowadays the Vale do Lobo Golf Resort is known for being one of the most prestigious fully integrated resorts in the Algarve.
